Hill Climb Round Up
Our correspondent Pete Bishop has written a comprehensive and entertaining account of some of the SW Hill Climbs that have taken place in recent weeks. Its well worth a read – Hill Climb Time: “I must go on. I can’t go on. I’ll go on.” – Exeter Wheelers CC.
As you will see there has been a good turnout of EWCC riders, so all that practice on Mamhead hasn’t been to waste.

Of course if you want to test yourself against a local hill, or fancy giving a try for the first time, the best place to start is our very own Hill Climb event on the 18th October.

SWCX League Rd 2 – Redruth
Chapeau to all the EWCC riders who made the along trip down to Redruth for Rd2 of the SWCX League.
The roll of honour this week is headed by Rudy Szender, who claimed his second victory of the season in the U8 category and Phillip Harris who took a 2nd Place in the Masters 70 category.
Othersmembers who got out included Monty Higgins (U10), Filipe Pacheco (U12), Tiago Pacheco (U14), Harvey Wasiowski (U14), Diogo Pacheco (Open), Richard Taylor (Masters 60) and David Wilkinson (Masters 60).
