Riding and kit
Women are actively encouraged to go on any of the Introductory rides, Sunday club runs and Tuesday and Thursday training sessions.
There is women’s specific club kit available from Greg at The Bike Shed (text him before calling in on 07794106357).
There is also a women’s race series for those of you who want to have a go at something competitive. Visit the Kalas South West Women’s Race Series website for more details.

What have the Wheelers’ women been up to lately?
On Saturday 14th March, Claire Elworthy took part in the 1st Chard Wheelers’ Spring Circuits at Ilton coming 12th overall. Next event at Ilton is on Saturday 11th April click here for more details and to enter.
Pippa Wheeler organised the Mad March Audax on Sunday 1st March. 146 riders took part in the 100 km ride and 60 in the 201 km ride (including Pippa herself). An audax is a long distance cycling event, open to all and most importantly is not a race. For anyone interested in taking part in these types of events in the future go to the Audax UK website.
