Lucy Commander gets a Silver at the World Duathlon Champs - 24/09/2011
Lucy Commander claimed a silver medal in the World Duathlon Championships in Spain.
Great West Run champion Commander, from Pinhoe, finished second in the 25-29 age group at the run-bike-run competition in Gijon.
Commander did the first running section in 39mins 05secs, the bike phase in 1:05.39 and the final run in 21.00 for an overall time of 2:08.54 as Great Britain took a clean sweep of medals.
