New Year 10 cancelled
Pete Luxton has kindly surveyed the course this morning (Saturday 2nd Jan) and due to the unfavorable icy conditions - it has been decided to cancel the event. It is possible that it may be re-scheduled for a later date - keep an eye out for more info over the coming weeks.
Christmas Pint
On Tuesday 15th December and again on Tuesday 22nd (for those who can't make it the week before), instead of the full Dawlish ride, were stopping at the pub at Cockwood for a Christmas pint and socialise before coming back.
The Mince Pie Run
I think Jamie Howard deserves a big hand for organising the mince pie run this year. Boston Tea Party in Honiton looked after us really well and I think everyone had a great time. How thoughtful of Jamie to arrange for Daisy the dog and her slightly flirty owner to drop in and entertain us. Okay, so who felt a tiny bit smug when they *didn't* fall off their bike on the ice near Honiton? I did - but shouldn't have. My turn came less that a mile from home and well out of view of everybody before enjoying my slap onto the deck. Ouch! No real harm done though. Did everybody else get home safely? Roller Racing Results
Well done to all who turned out for last nights roller racing, two EWCC riders made it through to the Semi finals and were beaten for the win by Nigel Orpin of CS Dynamo.
